Egyptian police nab Kuwaiti co-op manager carrying drugs in bag

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: The Egyptian police arrested a Kuwaiti man, manager of a cooperative society for possessing narcotic pills, reports Al-Sha-hed daily.
The arrest came when the man was on his way to Kuwait. It has been reported the Cairo airport police are said to have seized from the man thousands of narcotic pills which were hidden in his bag.
The daily added the man tried in vain to bribe an Egyptian security officer. The man was remanded to police custody for three days.
However, his release came following the alleged intervention of an influential relative. The relative and suspect are said to have arrived in Kuwait but they will be referred for interrogation after the Kuwaiti Interpol receives a detailed report on the incident from their Egyptian counterpart.

LWDLIK- What's the betting we never hear about this again! Instead why not plaster his pic and the influential person's pic all over the daily locals, then prosecute them both and throw away the key.. Tsk..tsk and in Ramadan too.
