I've tried several Gia salads at gatherings and was well impressed. So today I took my daughter to Gia in Salmiya for a salad. A nice selection of salads available, main courses, desserts, fresh juices and coffees. Encountered language problem with the server (had to repeat myself and point three times), our 3 choices of salad dumped on one plate decreasing it's appeal immensely, no music or ambiance and a filthy floor. I didn't notice the floor until we sat down and was shocked. I don't think I've ever eaten in a place with such a dirty floor.
Not good Gia, not good at all. The salads were really tasty, the server need an English course, food presentation on our plate was a big zero and the floor quite honestly made me feel ill.

The owners need to kick some arse in there.
Yuk. Love their food but fully agree on your other points.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you too, the sad faces on the waiters are also a No No No in such a nice place.... Food is good but service very very bad. I am making a post about Best breakfast in Kuwait and doubting about adding them although their eggs on an avocado toast are quite good when they get the point of the runny youk and they dont serve ir completely boiled.
