Qatar Airways’ new Al Mourjan Business Lounge opened its doors to guests recently in Hamad International Airport. Open to first and business-class passengers flying Qatar and oneworld carriers, the new lounge is one of the largest in the world, spread out across two levels and equivalent to the size of 10 Olympic-sized pools, accommodating up to 1,000 visitors at a time. Food and beverage options range from light bites to seated dining in the mezzanine area. Amenities include a business center with a conference area and personal workstations, an infinity pool, prayer rooms, restrooms, a smoking area, a nursery and shower rooms.
“Qatar Airways does not compromise on quality and the Al Mourjan lounge is the perfect example of this as it is the epitome of comfort, convenience and 5-star service that our Premium class passengers have come to expect from us,” said Akbar Al Baker, CEO, Qatar Airways.
LWDLIK - I'm off to Madrid tonight with Qatar Airways. Already impressed with their easy customer-friendly website, have printed out my boarding card and have one sent to my phone. Have flown with them a few times in the past and it's always been impeccable. Kinda wishing I'd splurged on the business class seat now.
