Sheikha Paula Mubarak Al Sabah, an American who married Sheikh Mubarak Jaber Al Sabah - the eldest son of the former Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah. Sheikha Paula née Paula Nugent, daughter of Leonard Nugent, an American national. Sheikha Paula and Sheikh Mubarak have one son and four daughters: Hamad, Yasmin, Bibi, Lulu, Mariam.

Sheikha Paula, a huge patron of the arts has passed on her love of art to her daughter Lulu who is a partner in JAMM - Art and Beyond; which specializes in tailor-made cultural projects, large and small without geographical boundary. More than simply an art consultancy, JAMM is a vessel to promote cultural diplomacy. Building both private and corporate art collections, the scope of their projects encompasses artistic representation, exhibitions, events and auctions.

JAMM is much more than simply an art advisory service. With their unique global footprint, JAMM brings together cultures, trends, collectors and private individuals who are shaping the contemporary art market today.

LWDLIK- Wish them great success. I love the way Kuwait has embraced art. Practically everyday you could go visit a gallery here with a different exhibit :O)

  3. Sure, but we've received the personal permission from Louise Nichole (editor HBA) to post it on artkuwait.org.

I would like to ask one more time, please provide link to our web-site or remove it. ArtKuwait.org - is not a storage of free pictures. :-) Please read in our page terms & use about the pictures and other materials.

  5. Actually she's editor-in-chief and Louise Nichol (no 'e') is very particular how people spell her name.

So this is getting tres ridiculous now.

Although the post got a lot of hits (probably to read the comments)I shall remove it today.

  8. Change my mind about removing it seems it's caused a lot of interest.

    1. Because Sheikha Paula and her daughter are interesting ladies.

    2. Because someone got their knickers in a twist for me posting a pic they got from a Harpers Bazaar Arabia article.

    S'funny :O)

  9. @ Anon 1 - Yes pic belongs to Harpers Bazaar Arabia and article is mine. See any problem in that?

@ Anon 2 - Not sure what's up. We are a few English speaking bloggers here, it's often I get emails asking if people can repost many of my posts. I NEVER say no. Or even if I see my posts elsewhere I wouldn't dream of asking them to remove it. There are some blogs (will remain nameless for now ;O) that use a lot of my posts. Is it annoying? Can be, if it's excessive but I understand it's hard to get new info and pics.

  10. Pic kept disappearing? A blogger site problem, I think? Found the one above as a replacement.
