ReplyDeleteThanks Kuweight 64. I like to think it might help some people here get out and about. My mother was here 30 years ago and lonely. She had few friends and was far away from home. I do believe it contributed to my parents divorce. So if I can help a few people out there learn about all the great stuff going on, give foreigners an insight to the real Kuwaitis, share some laughs. Then job done!

It's quite touching what you shared. I am sorry to know what happened to your mother. My children are in UK and US. Our lives revolved around our children until they finished school/college, and when they not with us, my husband and I do miss them and I didnt want us to feel lonely at all. Thanks to your lovely blog, grapevine and kuwait-music, I see ourselves attending a lot of events and sometimes I have to even choose which ones to attend if there are clash in dates. LOL. Honestly, you're doing a great job through your blog. Those who feel there's nothing to do out here - well, there is now so much to do and see. Have a gr8 weekend LWDLIK.

DeleteDon't worry I won't bother myself over her, that's for sure. Haven't even bothered to read her ranting. Sounds like it's getting political.. LOL.
I had emailed her and commented several times over previous lists she'd made to let her know LWDLIK wasn't on there, she knew it was a blog and she chose not to put it on "her" list (as opposed to Alexa's list). One can only speculate why.
