The Promising Young Scientists at the Kuwait Science Fair Competition

Chocolate -y goodness and its effects on your memory;
good news dark chocolate improves it

Building your own tool for identifying DNA

Improvement on Memory; music is good but smelling a  perfume before a test was even better
The musical mind; apparently jazz is best for maths and classical best for reading

Methanogenic bacteria subjected to anaerobic
conditions produces biogas

The effects of shampoo on the tensile strength of hair;
Palmolive was the overall winner

Multitasking and attention span

Effects of Caffeine on plant growth;
increased growth but reduced quality

Turning Algae into biofuel

Bridge Mania

A detailed study into accidents by old people caused by
floors and footwear; Birkenstock soles and wooden floors are safest.

Urine as an alternative energy source; amazingly pee produces energy.

One light that produces reflected light off angled
 mirrors placed in a row.
What a wonderful bunch of young people. I didn't manage to get to see all; I spent way too much time listening to the fascinating conclusions of their research and listening to their very eloquent presentations of the above projects. How very inspiring!
