I went on the Little Harvard website and was really impressed with what I've seen! I recently spoke to the school director and what they are offering is completely new and exciting to Kuwait. I will definitely enroll my child this year.

I'm a mother of twins and this will be the most elite preschool in Kuwait. Knowing Little Harvard's classes are the smallest in the country, my children will get the right attention. Have to say... very professional website and delivery :)

  4. I took my child to little Harvard, their service was really bad, the teachers not all of them speak english proper, and to expensive for no reason. The keepers who clean the children are didnt treat the kids proper. I just want to say thank god I took my child out of there. My child's behaviour changed from peaceful to aggressive since he was there. Now I'm taking my child to marafie nursery they are so happy there that even next day they look forward to going to nursery not like in Little Harvard.

    2. Well... Ms/Mr Anonymity..From your comment, quite full of passion, against Little Harvard I assume that something else happened there that made you take the decision to shift your child.
Let me start by saying that my child is also in Marafie Nursery so my below opinion should not be consider bias to any nursery.
      1. You started by ranting about their services, not mentioning exactly what disturbed you, just trowing a "bad service" so can`t quite understand what you didn`t like. Help me out to make a decision or an opinion about them by actually telling us what went wrong.
You can even help them correct themselves by submitting your comments to them.
      2. Getting to the teachers, all of them (teachers) are native english speakers, assistants all of them speak good english. Might be that your english level, revealed in your writing skills, pushed you to that assumption. So I`m positive, English is not your main concern in your child/children (still not sure from your comment if you have one or two or...) education;Marafie, although is a bilingual nursery, accent is placed on Arabic language and I don`t know any of their staff who`s native english speaker. But I`m very happy with the care given to my child and later on I might consider shifting her to a english nursery.
      3. Again you are picking on the staff, this time the nannies, still without providing a real reason. What do you understand trough "proper" as you are using it a lot without defining it. What you consider to be "proper" I might think of it as "unproper", so if there was something wrong you have to mention it. It is the only way you can make a change; by just telling to someone "you`re wrong" without telling him/her why, will not help him/her to really think about it or to change himself/herself.
      4. Child behavior is a subject you can read/write plenty of books about it.
My daughter was a shy child until about 14 months and then she started having tantrums, trying to be independent, getting selfish about her stuff, fighting with other children and so on and all this time she was in the same nursery.
Have you tried shifting your child to another class before taking the decision to shift nurseries? Maybe your toddler had an argument with another child and this can lead to change in his behavior, like refusing to enter the classroom or even to go to nursery. (Same effect as bullying later on).
      5. Expensive.Well.... Plenty of nurseries in Kuwait and a wide range of tariffs to chose from.
You have to select the one that suits you and your child, care, education whatever you are looking for.

Wish you and your child well.

  5. What I meant about no proper service is that the lady who manages the nursery Mrs. Lina is quite rude to people that point out her works mistakes such as the teachers or the cleaners. Who is right the customer or the management, at least the management should take into consideration peoples complaints and concerns. Do people have to pay for something that is good or just waist their money on the way they teach or take care of the children. Apparently one of their teachers only spoke Russian to the children instead of English and the other one didn't do much other then look at her mobile phone and play games on it instead of really teach the children something useful. Or talking about the caregivers who changed the diapers for the children, they didn't wash their hands and most of the time my child's diapers where untouched and the diaper my child was wearing was full of pee and sometimes even poo. I have many other things to say but this nursery but it's not worth wasting my time, people will find out by themselves.

  6. If this is all true it won't be good for business that's for sure.

    1. My daughter's school is criticized by a few for various things (as are most here) but my daughter is thriving and happy there and that's what's most important finding a school that suits your child. My daughter was at nursery in Happyland Skool next to TSC in Salwa and they were fabulous. You will always have small issues with schools, teachers and other kids. That's life.

  7. As a parent I did shop around kuwait for a good nursery . And thank God we have some really Good ones here . However what made me choose little Harvard was actually Mrs. Lena . She made us all comfortable and confident that my daughter would have the best environment and education in town . Not only does little Harvard build character but also they focus on my child's knowledge and language . My girl did not speak properly but now she can express herself in English ( actually my husband says she talks like she's from The USA ) which is really funny cause we are Arabs . Little Harvard cares about your kid and about you . It's not about the money to them it's about having a part in building a generation for confident bright young men and women .
The first five years of a child's life are the most important and I'm happy that my child already spent two of them with little Harvard .

  9. Absolutely LOVE Little Harvard! The building is awesome but what makes it more special is the staff. My daughter Adores Ms. Amar (from Australia) the KG1 teacher and all the nannies are exceptionally caring. I’d recommend any parent to start their kid’s educational journey at LHP!
