Castration for the Police Officer who Brutally Raped a Filipino Lady and Left her for Dead?

This was one of my dear Filipino friends' FB status today..

"I am so furious after reading the case of the Fil here being raped by a police officer and stabbed several times in the neck and other parts of her body and dumped just few meters away from the mall where he saw her. Luckily she survived and was able to identify the rapist. What is worse is that a female relative visited her in the hospital and offered her KD100 ($350) to drop the case. The nerve! That is how cheap they think we are. Just thinkin: Why shouldn't a rapist be castrated on the same manner a thief's hands are cut or a murderer's head is axed."

The full story as reported in Kuwait Times [link].

I agree castration is what the animal needs. I hope he and his stinking relative rot in hell.

  1. i was waiting for the bloggers to pick up on this
i sent her flowers while she was in ICU (actually a flower as flowers are not allowed there)
there was a rahter sturdy policeman watching the door and i was not allowed in - the icu nurse took the flower
i checked to see if she was transferred to the ward a relative of mine was in - no, curiousity got the better of me and i walked around the wards - couldn't find her - i suspect she's in a private room quite secluded now
i prayed for her and believe she's getting better

    1. You are a sweetheart. Hope she recovers quickly from her wounds; the nightmarish memories will be a different matter. Please God give her strength and watch over her.

  2. There have been many stories of abuse at the hands of Kuwaiti police over the past few years; rape, torture, etc. IS there a psychological evaluation that police applicants must pass here before being allowed into the ranks? Are there annual evaluations?

Anyone who would do something so vile and repugnant obviously has mental issues; most definably the lack of a conscience. I'm wondering - what ELSE has this particular lance corporal done? What are others doing if they're not being evaluated?

    1. Agree DG. It's becoming all too frequent. But then we do almost live in a lawless country or rather a one-sided law. I've heard Kuwaitis brush these horrific crimes off saying it can happen anywhere -which is true. However considering the size of the population, the escalating crime rate and the horrendous nature of the crimes all are cause for great concern. I feel as if we should have a silent protest maybe a candlelight vigil outside her hospital for an hour. We could drum up some media attention. Whaddiya think?

  3. How can we donate money and know she will actually get it? I can't stop thinking about her and how terrified she must feel. :( He better go down and pay for his crimes tenfold.

I would really like her to know some people out here really care. I might be able to find out more details through my Filipino friends. Whaddiya think?

    1. I'm curious where are you from? Only, I think, you are either Filipino and have much love and compassion for your fellow compatriot or Kuwaiti and have a sense of embarrassment as well as huge compassion for your fellow man. Anyway you are one fabulous exceptional human being - that I can only aspire to be.

  5. With so many people seriously affected by the occupation of Kuwait in 90/91 and seeing horrific autrocities - THEN having no PTSD counseling; the crime rate is bound to rise.

    1. Hi DG, I'm, personally, not so sure that has too much to do with it.
Would be an interesting study though.

Many people here saw and experienced some horrifc things and they aren't committing savage rape and attempted murder on defensless women. I think it has more to do with the general breakdown of society here, lawlessness, lack of humanity, narcissism, arrogance, general disrespect for women especially of Asian origin, preconceived ideas, lack of justice and anarchy.

      A worrying trend indeed.

  6. Please stop blaming the Invasion for the recent increase of the crime rate - that happened 22 years ago !!!!! IF this animal was born, he would have probably been very young at the time and if he'd witnessed horrific sights would not have have understood quite what he was seeing.
Castration is the only answer ( obviously without anaesthetic ) as the authorities are incapable of serving justice on "one of their own" and we have the all important Wasta to thank for the suffering of this poor girl.
My heart goes out to her at this dreadful time in her life. She's in my prayers.
    Jabriya Babe.

  7. I know a Filipina that was raped by 8 men. The parents of several of them offered her 1000 KD, because her "boys" (18-20) were just kids and did not know what they were doing when they snatched her up walking home from work and gangraped her. This happens more often than most know. There is a general disregard for certain nationalities in this country. When I first arrived here I was shocked at the rampant racism, but sadly some of us become desensitized over the years. A candlelight vigil would be great to show our solidarity against these heinous acts committed against this woman and many others like her.

    1. Where is the humanity and compassion? Daily we hear of horrendous crimes. As the mother of a Kuwaiti child it makes me very sad and angry. However my child has been brought up with the same morals as I, and her father, were taught. To respect all, to empathise with those less fortunate because only by the grace of God are we living a blessed life without constant hardship. Surely any God fearing person would never commit such atrocities. I see a distinct lack of any religion because there is no religion that condones this behaviour.
I would very much like to do a vigil if anyone knows where she is as it seems, for her own safety, she is being kept under guard in a unknown location.
