On Thursday 5 November at 7:00 pm, the Ahmadi Music Group choir will perform
songs by Edward Elgar, the great British composer of the Edwardian era. He is best known for large-scale orchestral works, such as the Pomp and Circumstance March, but loved the more intimate sound of choir and piano as well.
The programme will include the well-known cycle "From the Bavarian Highlands" as well as Spanish Serenade, Fly Singing Bird, and The Snow.
The al-Yarmouk Cultural Centre is brand-new in Kuwait this year, having just opened. It replaces the Maiden Cultural Centre, which served for decades and is now part of the museum complex under construction. Come and see this great addition to the cultural life of Kuwait.
The concert is at 7:00 pm on Thursday 5 November, and will last about one hour. All tickets and information on our website www.ahmadimusicgroup.com.
