K'S PATH Open Day Visit

It's about an hour's drive from Bneid Al Gar and best to be accompanied just in case you have a puncture or something. Note the opening times are 10-2PM. Any enquiries can be made on their website www.kspath.org.
Such dedication from the volunteers. The animals there look so loved and healthy.
The animals we came across had obviously been treated/rehabilitated really well.
They were very friendly and trusting.

Just chillaxin' in a perfect shaded spot.

Some beautiful Persians up for adoption.

I learned that usually these cats have the run of the place,
so they were quite vocal about being locked up.

It's a hard life.

The puppies were set free to interact and play with the kids.

Who's got doggy treats?

A memorial to the animals that tragically lost their lives in
the fire at K's Path.

Even the turtles have a grand life.

Taking Mario for a walk.

The monkey enclosure.
Looks like a monkey gym.

Puppy love.

The wonderful staff.

It was heart warming to see these animals looking so well after hearing some of the horror stories they had to endure. K's Path is truly a sanctuary from a hash and cruel world.
From what I understand this shelter is completely private funded so donations are always
very, very welcome.
