An exciting lecture by world renowned British author and scholar, Tim Mackintosh-Smith. His most famous work includes the award winning book, "Travels with a Tangerine" which retraces the footsteps of the 14th century Moroccan traveler, Ibn Battutah. It was also adapted into a BBC documentary. The lecture is entitled “The Far Flung World of Ibn Battutah” and will be followed by a short discussion and Q&A. The lecture is sponsored by the AUK Writing Center and held at 6:00PM on October 8, 2013 in the auditorium at the American University of Kuwait. Everyone is welcome to attend this public lecture.
