One of my only pics |
I've done this trip but was too busy picking and eating strawberries (go around January for strawberries) to take pics so was delighted to see a lovely detailed review by another blogger, According to Mimi. Really is worth the 1 hour 25 min drive but best to go before it gets too hot. There's a little zoo area with llamas, emus, sheep, cows and a crocodile (you can threaten to feed the kids to him if they get naughty, works a treat). Lots to see and buy: fresh veg, really cheap kale, fresh flowers, fruits, delicious corn, teas. A perfect way to spend a day. Pack snacks too as it's a long trip in the car. [Location on googlemaps] which you can share with your phone. Ya gotta love technology. |
Oh wow, thank you for the shout out! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the excellent review. I think quite a few people will be heading out there soon thanks to you.
DeleteDo you need to make an appointment? How do I get there (you can PM me if you want). Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNo appointment necessary opens from 1pm, best to go in daylight hours as some roads there can be unlit and very isolated.
DeleteHave posted location/map above.
