JAMM (a comprehensive art management group and consultancy service) are organising a public exhibition of artworks on 16th February at Al Corniche Club, Gulf Road. This will be a preview to the auction on the 17th February. On offer will be over 50 works of art by renowned Middle Eastern artists including Mohammad Rawas, Rokni Haerizadeh, Nabil Nahas, Jamal Abdul Rahim, Reza Derakshani, Hassan Meer, Ahmed Alsoudani, Farideh Lashai, Sami Mohammed, Chant Avedissian and Lamya Gargash, the auction will provide an opportunity for both new and existing clients in the GCC region and beyond to add to their collections of contemporary Arab and Iranian art.
JAMM will offer 30% of the proceeds to Kuwait Society's PATH (Protection of Animals in Their Natural Habitat). There is an interesting article with the founding partner Sheikha Lulu Al-Sabah in Al Watan Daily 7/2/2010 on page 13.
