Barefoot in the Park

Neil Simon’s classic comedy “Barefoot in the Park” comes to The KLT at the end of this month and the box office is now open for ticket reservations.
Performances open on Wednesday March 30th at 7.30pm and run until Friday evening, April 1st.

The play is a romantic comedy set in New York in the 1960’s. Corrie is a free spirit, full of life and fun, who tries to involve her more solid, sensible husband Paul in a scheme to fix up her mother with their very eccentric neighbor. When things don’t go according to plan, an argument follows that makes her question their relationship and their entire marriage.

Made famous by the movie version starring Robert Redford, he was unfortunately not available for the KLT production so a much younger, sexier male was found ( Matt Aston) to play the part of Paul with Teresa Hansen in the role of his wife, Corrie.

The play marks the directorial debut at KLT of Annike Jones and is sure to be a hugely enjoyable night out so book early!
