No Ban on Wives of Six Banned Nationalities Married to GCC Men

KUWAIT TIMES: Director of the Immigration Authority, Lt. General Kamel Al-Awadhi, informed border administrators that the decision of the Interior Minister to ban citizens of Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan from entering Kuwait is not applicable to wives of GCC citizens. He emphasized that all sea, land and air border exits are required to allow wives of the above six countries married to GCC citizens to enter Kuwait, as per decisions passed by GCC interior ministers. Al-Awadhi said several complaints were received from wives of GCC citizens that they were not allowed to enter Kuwait with their husbands. Accordingly, the Immigration Director wrote to the Borders Director in this respect security sources revealed. —Al-Anbaa

LWDLIK - That's news to me as is the ban on those six nationalities.
