TIES Center Hosts Family Carnival and Bazaar
March 20th from 10am-5pm.
Attendance free. Lots of activities for the kids and the young at heart! Pony rides, trampoline, henna hand painting, photo studio and cotton candy. The bazaar will have everything from Mexican to Moroccan food as well as art work, jewelry and clothing.
Ties Center, Villa 64, Street 413, Block 4, Shuhada. Tel. 25231015/6.
LWDLIK- Just got back from the bazaar. Was smaller than expected and didn't see any pony rides or trampoline. There was a magic show and the kids enjoyed that and the cotton candy.
I did learn a little about TIES Center it is a center for promoting relations between Westerners and Muslims through dialogue, friendship and cultural-knowledge exchange. They offer Arabic language courses, cultural tours, reference library, Islamic information, social events, cooking classes. The Muslim ladies were very friendly and I think for newly-converted, Muslim Westerners this would be a great place to frequent.
