World Peace Meditation Hour

Sunday 20th June, 2010
7pm-8:30pm
Zumerida (on Al Taawen St, with palm trees on the roof)
EVERYONE WELCOME

Our outer world is a reflection of what lies within our collective inner worlds. By directing our thought in specific, positive ways, we have the potential to guide the world towards becoming a more loving place.
World Meditation Hour began in 1978 when people from all over the world (whether regular meditators or not) were invited to collectively meditate for one hour for world peace on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Over the years this practice has become very popular. It has now spread to over 100 countries around the world and about 9000 Raja Yoga Centres and over a million people participate in this special meditation for world peace.

Whether or not you know how to meditate, you are invited to join us on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 7pm for the opportunity to spend 60 minutes of your time radiating peace, love, care and compassion to our fragile world.

PROGRAM
7pm – Welcome and introduction to the evening - sharing of thoughts to set the theme for your meditation experience.

7:30pm-8:30pm – World meditation hour with music, guided commentaries and deep silence.
8:30pm – We suggest you leave in silence and carry away the peace
We will start promptly in order to respect everyone’s time.

FREE-OF-CHARGE

All activities conducted by Harmony House are FREE-OF-CHARGE, and offered as a community service. Everyone gives of their time freely, not because they are free, but because they realise there is a deeper purpose to life; that by sharing time and experiences from the heart, there is an immense reward of joy and happiness.
