Old Explosives Found in Bnaider Area

KUWAIT TIMES: Two explosives were successfully recovered from Kuwait International Rally in Bnaider (south) site without any complications. Patrol officers drove to a location near the race track where an organizer found a foreign object half buried in the sand. Bomb squads were called after police identified the object as a mortar shell and a similar explosive was found when the area was swept. Investigations revealed that the shells were left by Iraqi forces during the 1990-91 invasion. – Al-Anba, Al-Watan, Al-Rai
