The darling owners of Octium Jewelry in 360 Mall have created quite a stir amongst the elite, international fashion powers that be. Sheikha Alanood M. Al Sabah and her husband Fahad Al Hajiri should be buckling their seatbelts for blast off when they introduce their own jewelry collection at the Paris fashion week in March IMHO. The collection is still under wraps to the general public but the little peak and the oooh's and ahhh's from people in the business, so far, is a good indication of a very warm welcome in Paris.
I saw the 4 page article with them yesterday it was very exciting and the photos are gorgeous. All photos taken in their amazing home. The magazine's use of royalty and tea at the palace had them both laughing. They really are a very sweet, unpretentious, normal couple except Alanood has a title and they both ooze fabulous style. We are so very proud of them both.
If you haven't already seen the store on the 1st floor at 360 Mall it really is a must. It's designed by the renowned Jaime Hayon and is beautiful. Personally I think they will take the Paris fashion week and the world by 'shiny, bejeweled' storm with their collection.
