Sanad - Life Starts at 50 at ASCC

As an inclusive and community-driven cultural institution, the centre is launching ‘Sanad’: an interactive platform aiming to engage retired individuals (50 +) through social, cultural, and recreational activities. Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre is happy to announce it will be collaborating with Yadawi and Daratma to offer sessions in Arts and Crafts and Yoga, respectively (Schedule below). 

ASCC is currently offering sessions for women only. The program is structured to run as both a one-off session and a progressive course, allowing participants the freedom and flexibility to join at any point, and for as many times as they prefer.

DevFests are large, community-run developer events happening around the globe focused on community building and learning about Google’s technologies.

DevFest Kuwait brings together people who shape the future of Web and Cloud technologies for 2 days of sessions, workshops and networking. Described by many as 'Google I/O of Kuwait', our team creates DevFest to be the best place for inspiration and experience sharing.

This year we will host

1- Django Girls workshop. By the end of the workshop, the attendee will have created a blog using HTML, CSS, Python and Django.

2- Advanced Web Programming workshop. By the end of the workshop the attendees will have a better idea of how to program a website like a developer from gathering user requirements, UX, backend and frontend in addition to advanced Javascript.

3- Codelabs where attendees can try new technologies such as Assistant, Tango, TensorFlow, Flutter, and Barjem by Coded with trainers from IEEEAUK and Coded to support them throughout the two days.
