Gulf Bank 642 Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km
What does the ‘642’ stand for?
642 is actually the total number of muscles in a human body!
That’s where the “move your 642 muscles” slogan comes from.
Gulf Bank 642 Marathon is made for every individual who wants to experience a run, touring through the beautiful landmarks of Kuwait. From challenging athletes to beginners and even families. This event caters to everyone.
Gulf Bank 642 Marathon is the first full road race to take place in Kuwait and three of the race categories have been accredited by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF Athletics).
Following this rigorous assessment, three categories (10 KM, 21 KM, and 42KM distances) of the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon have been AIMS certified. These races now appear in the international calendar of races.
