Historical, Vintage & Classic Car Museum Holds Automotive Photography Contest

The first car, a Belgian-made Minerva, arrived in Kuwait around 1910.














The Historical, Vintage & Classic Car Museum announces the registration for the first Automotive Photography Contest by the end of Sunday, the 22nd of May 2011. All the participating images will be on display for the public to choose their favorites. Photos will be on shown at the main Exhibition Hall at the Museum.

The Automotive Photography Competition is the first that is specialized in vehicles in both Kuwait and the Middle East. Competition takes place from  22nd to 29th May 2011 at the main display hall at the museum, located in Shuwaikh Industrial Area opposite Kaifan Telecom Exchange and beside Al-Ghanim Industries. Shuwaikh Industrial Area, Block 1, Street 49.

Contest categories:

1 - Best color image of a car.
2 - Best picture of a car logo.
3 - Best black and white image.
4 - Best image; voted on by the general public.

Winners will be announced on Sunday, May 29.

Images will be displayed in the museum during official working hours from 9:00am to 12:00 noon and 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
