Karen is a very, very dear friend of mine and an amazing woman. 
Her MBE from Queen Elizabeth II was presented to her by the Queen at Buckingham Palace for her life-long charity work for the Leukemia Research Charity. She is a volunteer at K'S PATH and organiser of Sport Relief Kuwait.
Her book is a fascinating insight in to part of her life during Kuwait's darkest days. It is a great read. You will laugh, cry and feel the triumph of love. Price KD 4.
