Review: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is Fab
Love it - I found this left my skin feeling super-clean without stripping moisture or leaving any trace of product behind (I hate that sticky feeling). It also made light work of removing stubborn make-up without damaging lashes — even waterproof mascara. The perfect lazy girl's after party friend. No need for cleanser, toner and eye make-up remover. Retails for KD 2.795 but it is on special offer 20% off in City Centre so I got it for KD 2.
What is micellar water?
Micellar water is made up of micelles (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules) suspended in soft water. The idea is that micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so they are able to draw out impurities without drying out the skin. Therefore, micellar water can be used as a facial wash, makeup remover and moisturizer all in one.
10/10
I'm waiting to see if my skin will benefit from the lack of harsh face wash seems many users have seen an improvement.

Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Liberation of Kuwait at the British Embassy with the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland
A wonderful evening at the British Embassy celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Liberation of Kuwait and the historical friendship between Kuwait & Great Britain.
Many thanks to the British Ambassador HE Mathew Lodge and his lovely wife, Alexa.
The esteemed dignitaries, Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and the Minister of Cabinet affairs Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al-Sabah, kindly regaled the international audience with reflections of their experiences during the liberation of Kuwait and showed their heartfelt appreciation for the British and International participation in liberating their beloved country.
A few tears trickled when seeing the old footage of the occupation and liberation of Kuwait, even 25 years on.
The Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland were superb. They will be doing a few more spots before leaving;
19th Feb - The Last Night of the Proms at the British Embassy
20th Feb - The Avenues Mall at 3pm starting from Ikea
23rd Feb - Yarmouk Cultural Centre 7pm
I loved their rendition of Pharrel William's 'Happy' and the 'Bond' music.

Red Bull King of the Rock Basketball Tournament 2016
Red Bull King of the Rock is the world's most prestigious one-on-one street basketball tournament. After a series of qualifying events taking place around the world, the best and toughest finalists King face off to crown the new champion. The tournament follows a straightforward concept where players battle head-to-head in raw outdoor basketball, using a single-elimination tournament bracket. Games last five minutes and are subject to regulation hoops rules and scoring (two and three pointers). Players have to be tough to make it to the finals, but also have to play smart – five fouls equal an automatic loss. After each game, the loser walks away, and the winner faces his next opponent. Tension and expectations are high. With blood, sweat, tears, and hoops in the mix, the last King will be honoured.
Qualifier Dates:
•GUST Basketball Courts, Friday 12th February, exclusive to university students (Present your student ID) – registration at 4:00 pm – Limited to 32 players.
•AIS – Meidan Hawally, Saturday 13th February, registration 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm, limited to 64 players.
•KU Khaldiya Basketball Courts, Monday 15th February, exclusive to university students (Present your student ID) – registration at 11:00 am, Limited to 32 players.
•AIS – Meidan Hawally, Saturday 20th February, registration 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm, limited to 64 players
