Kuwaiti Ambassador To Austria Puts His Glamorous Ex-wife Behind Bars in Morocco After Claiming She Cheated On Him During Their Marriage

Hind El-Achchabi (pictured below) was handed a prison term after Kuwaiti diplomat Sadiq M. Marafi (above) made criminal allegations against her.

The 49-year-old diplomat filed a lawsuit against his wife, accusing her of fraud, corruption and betrayal.

She is now behind bars in the city of Sale, just north of Moroccan capital Rabat.

El-Achchabi and Marafi separated in September 2014, yet according to media reports she did not want to accept official divorce papers.

Her alleged lover after 2014, a Moroccan entrepreneur named Mohsin Karim Bennani, was sentenced to seven months' imprisonment for adultery.

He is said to have already served his sentence.

Marafi also says that one of "his" daughters is not really his as she is the product of his ex-wife's affair.

El-Achchabi's sister was sentenced to six months for having falsified documents. Under Moroccan law, adultery is punishable by up to two years imprisonment.

Review: Caffeine, Ahmad Al Jaber Street, SoMu (Souk Mubarakiya)

I like to think of myself as a regular now. It's my favourite coffee shop in the lovely downtown Souk Mubarakiya (SoMu). The owner is usually there and very hands on, friendly and a coffee aficionado. 

The above salted caramel cappucino was perfect, not too sweet but a distinct, lovely caramel flavour with tiny moments of a contrasting saltiness - Heavenly.

We usually have brunch outside and I have to say that the poached eggs on spinach and sweet potato is TDF as is the labeneh with zaater and pomegranite syrup on sour dough. Nirvana on a plate and gorgeous spring weather; can it get much better? 

We were lucky enough to meet their new young talented chef, Maryam Al Jassar, who whilst busy studying law at KU works part-time as the ingenious chef. Her passion is food and she was gracious enough to come and chat with us awhile. A very impressive young lady who has a very bright and delicious future in front of her. Always wonderful to meet young Kuwaitis with such passion, determination and work ethics.

Review: Fly High Kuwait

My 13 year old daughter was invited to an aerial yoga birthday party last night at JBMH other than the horrendous traffic trying to get in to the place (Thursday night) it was a great hit with the the girls. The mommies got to sit outside at this beautiful hotel and enjoy the weather and a peacefully quiet activity other than some squealing with delight as the instructors tried to encourage the girls into some pretzel-shaped moves. 

The event was well organised and a fun, outdoor activity that I would highly recommend to anyone. For prices, more details of classes and party packages please see their website Fly High Kuwait . 

They have other classes that look super fun too like the SUP yoga on the BOGA boards in the swimming pool - see below. Not so cheap but look out for any offers that might come up and have yourself some healthy fun. 

Only because of the high price I give it a 9/10.
