Just about to land in Delhi, we could see the runway when suddenly aircraft pulled up sharply and ascended, there was a huge noise coming from the engines as he, the pilot, used full power to go up again. Seems there was an aircraft still on the runway where were told to land. Nothing like a near-death experience to make you happy to be alive :0)
Had Nameste Air Services and holidays providing us a lovely meet & greet at airport and a driver during our stay www.namasteairportservices.com they took great care of us, thank you Ajay and Arpna.
The Manor hotel was lovley located in a quiet residential area www.themanordelhi.com. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, ambiance and TLC. The exceptional service from Jagdeep (driver) and Shamser Singh Gill was much appreciated.
Very long drive to the resort where the renewal of wedding vows is to take place. We would have been better off in a tractor, the roads here are quite awful.
Yes, India can be frustrating, dirty and baffling. But the lovely people are unique; kind, humble, calm, serene and eager to please. Hope they bottle whatever the secret is and sell it to the rest of the world.
