Palestinian Culture Center holds its annual exhibition for 2011. The PCC is a non-profit organisation that aims 1) to preserve the rich heritage and culture of Palestine 2) help empower women and their families in the Palestinian refugee camps to become economically independent 3) sustain needy Palestinians in their homeland and in diaspora.
Exhibition highlights are:
* Traditional cross-stitch embroidery of dresses, linens, shawls, cushions, table-runners, etc.
* Handmade ceramics from Hebron.
* Books, posters, DVDs, kafiyas, keychains.
* Food items such as thyme, sumac, olive oil. Only on Thursday will there be fresh baked goods and other traditional dishes.
* Palestinian folklore 'dabkah' dancing will be performed at 6.30pm on Monday and Thursday.
Location is Woman's Cultural Social Society, Khaldiya, Blk 2, Al Ouroba Street. (behind Faculty of Engineering, Kuwait University).
It will be held for 4 days from 25th April- 28th April, 2011. Timings 10am-1.30pm and 4.30pm-8.30pm.

LWDLIK- The pic above is an example of Palestinian embroidery but not indicative of an item for sale at the exhibition. And take it from an expert (my MIL) the Palestinian olive oil is the best you will ever try, it's rare to find and this exhibit is your chance to stock up.

Thank you for this, I moved recently to Kuwait and was looking for some information about what goes on... I second your 'expert' opinion about Palestinian olive oil and I'm off to buy some..
