2nd April is The International Day of Autism

The International Day of Autism 2/4 Supported by Kuwait Autism Society.

1. Autism makes people unable to understand and communicate with people around them.
2. Autism amongst the population is considered the 2nd largest developmental disability after mental retardation.
3. Autism is more common in boys than girls.
4. So many more people are diagnosed with Autism every year. 


What are the signs of Autism?

1. People with Autism suffer from communication difficulties and they may not be interested in interpersonal relationships.
2. They avoid eye contact and prefer to stay alone by themselves.
3. They do not like hugging except whom they prefer to do so.
4. They do not participate in normal conversation, on the other hand they respond to other voices.
5. They have difficulty in expressing their needs through words or feelings and they may laugh, cry or get angry without clear reason.
