Okay, so we fly into Geneva pick up the car drive along the lake to Buchillon, day trips to Lausanne and Montreaux Jazz Festival and a boat trip across to Evian. Lots of raclette and chocolate. A trip to a Gruyere producer and a chocolate factory train trip.
Off on the food pilgrimage to Lyon but first a quick visit and lunch in beautiful Annecy. A bouchon or three in Lyon, the park, vieux Lyon and a Michelin star restaurant with a TDF view of the city.
Depart Lyon drive south via Chateauneuf du Pape. On to Saint Remy de Provence for 6 days with day trips to Avignon, Gordes, Aix, Pont de Gard and lavender fields.
Depart Remy for Vallarius via Aix to stock up on goodies from the weekly market. Vallarius is in the South of France close to both Cannes and Antibes. My sister and her family join us for 11 days of fun and frolicking. My daughter will be close to her buddies holidaying in Cannes and hang out with them. Tickets for mum and dad to boogie to Earth, Wind & Fire and Nile Rodgers Chic at a live concert at the Juan Les Pins Jazz Festival.
A day trip to Italy - I have promised my nephew pizza in Italy, Monaco, Mougins, Grasse, Cannes, Nice, Isle Margarite, St Paul de Vence, and the beautiful Cote D'Azur beaches.
We have a week that we haven't booked anything so we can decide if there is somewhere we want to revisit.
Back to Switzerland to Crans Montana for possibly a day or two for my daughter to see a school friend.
And then back to Kuwait.
Fingers and toes crossed that all goes well. See you in August. Happy travels people.
