Open invitation to make new friends at the Eid Open House at AWARE Center in Surra.
Time:6-8pm Sunday, 12th September, 2010.
The Aware Center cordially invites you to join them as they celebrate Eid Al-Fitr. Eid is a generic Arabic term that means "Hoilday" or "Festival" and Eid Al-Fitr is the festival that marks the end of Ramadan and the breaking of the fast. The atmosphere will be friendly, fun and festive. Options for henna hand-painting and calligraphy will be available to guests along with a variety of cultural items available for purchase. Doors open at 6pm. Join them for this festive Eid celebration to experience the Arab & Islamic culture with their staff as well as other Arab & Western friends of the Aware Center.
