Simply the most delicious and most authentic Italian pizza around.
Solo Pizza Napulitana is a relatively new small Kuwaiti-owned business that’s located in an old building in Sharq, Kuwait City see map. You'll need the map because this place is not easy to find but so very worth the effort.
The area is a little daunting, to say the least, and from the outside the restaurant doesn’t look very appealing but you soon realise the small, functional but cosy restaurant is packed to the brim and the wonderful smells, permeating the night air, tell your senses that you are at the right place.
The Kuwaiti owner makes the pizzas and seems his buddies help him out taking orders, waiting on tables and taking care of the payments.

We've been back twice now, last night was another mmmmmm.. happy tummy moment. My friend and I knew we were in for a gastronomic delight the moment we smelled the truffle oil before we opened the door. We just had to try that one. It was the special of the day with mushrooms, fresh garlic and truffle oil and was fabulous!

Have also tried a few others, including the frodo and the pepperoni, both were marvellous too. We always have a take away and it is recommended to call ahead to order as the place can be very busy with pizza lovers. There are also salads and a nutella pizza for dessert on the menu.
May I suggest if you have any pizza left-overs a little slice reheated with your boiled egg in the morning...Heaven!
