Kuwait Times - The awards ceremony for the fourth annual Kuwait Science Fair (KSF) competition was held on Saturday evening at the Regency Palace Hotel under the patronage of Hani Abdulaziz Hussein, Minister of Oil and Chairman of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. Ziad Abass won the first prize of a full scholarship in the discipline of choice from Northwestern University, an international internship at Schlumberger, a cash prize of KD750, gift vouchers worth over KD100 in value, a certificate honoring his participation and rank and a first place trophy.
Yasmeen Hayat and Zaina Al-Dukair were the second prizewinners and received a scholarship in the discipline of their choice from the American University of Kuwait (AUK), an internship at Schlumberger, KD500 in cash, two certificates honoring their participation and rank, over KD100 in vouchers and a second place trophy. Shivani Sharma and Eman Nadoum were third prize winners and received KD350 in cash, two certificates honoring their ranking and participation, over KD100 in vouchers and the third place trophy.
