Five other lawmakers submitted a draft law comprising new regulations to organize private schools’ work . The law, proposed by MPs Waleed Al-Tabtabaei, Jamaan Al-Harbash, Faisal Al-Mislem, Falah Al-Sawagh and Ammar Al-Ajmi, calls for banning co-education in all school grades except kindergarten, requiring bilingual and English schools to submit curriculums to be inspected by the ministry.

Never mind that (according to the newspaper today) 84% of students in government schools are dissatisfied, let's go after the perfectly fine and functioning private schools and destroy them instead.

Well - what d'ya know! What a surprise!!! Well I guess the voters of Kuwait knew exactly what they wanted when they voted this bunch into parliament. Welcome to the Dark Ages!!!
